The SACLP opposes and condemns all forms of racism and intolerance through our Mission, Vision, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. We stand with our members, as well as fellow child life specialists across the world, who are feeling the impacts of the years of injustice and unrest that have been underscored by recent events. The SACLP aligns with the public statement regarding diversity and inclusion published by the child life governing organization, The Association of Child Life Professionals.

As part of our step towards building a brighter future for all, SACLP has begun to curate a selection of resources available to child life professionals and the patients and families they serve. We have placed the information below and will also be placing these resources on our website in our new “Diversity and Inclusion” tab.
